Numerical Model for Formation and Evolution of the Bleb

The morphology of a bleb and its changes are critical to the amoeboid migration cell. By releasing bonds between membrane cortex cell, formation can be observed experimentally, but mechanism that affects size shape during requires further study. In this study, by adapting governing equations discrete two-dimensional fluid–solid coupling model recommended Strychalski Guy [2013 “A computational formation,” Mathematical Medicine Biology 30(2), 115–130], we overcome defect traditional means is always too small compared with experimental results, simulate behaviors cell blebs successfully. effects various parameters such as number broken bonds, viscosity coefficient cortex, cell’s modulus on investigated. Numerical results show effectively simulates evolution bleb, thus, contributions several factors successfully derived.
